OUR SCOPE OF BUSINESS

Scout Developments consists of the following main sectors:

• Consulting - We consult with a large customer base on various requirements and projects that they might require and pride ourselves on achieving results.

• Research and Development - We have both in-house R&D projects and customer-required projects. These projects are developed from the conception stage to final realization and production.

• Mechanical Designing - We offer mechanical design solutions to requirements.

• Drafting and Drawings - Detailed drawings can be prepared for manufacturers and producers.

• Manufacturing - Includes anything from 4x4 vehicle Accessories to custom one-off projects, trailers of diverse types, and all required steelworks.

• Vehicle Manufacturing - Scout Developments have developed a few vehicles for civilian use. These can be adapted to use in the Mining and Security sector.

 

Constant and continuous development of our own products creates an increase in requirements that inspires customers for products from our company. We strive for open dialogue with our customers and suppliers and pride ourselves on being a fair partner.

Operational safety provides continuity.

By concentrating on our core competencies, we are constantly upgrading our processes and products.

We promote and demand initiatives, independent thinking, and acting, as well as mutual esteem and respect. We always prefer honest and open communication: flexibility and an open mind for what is now a part of our philosophy.

To implement the above, we need to improve our processes continuously and strive to achieve certified management systems. This will be implemented at the proper time.

Kindly note the following:

• All bumpers and rock sliders are painted, Raptor Black.

• All bash plates, tank protectors, and transfer case protectors are plated to protect against rust.

• We will ensure that all products are packed in such a way that it does not scratch. We cannot be held responsible if the items come to you with scratches and paint chips.

• Color coding is an optional extra.

• Goods purchased by Special Order (i.e. altering the design or custom designing) are not to be returned for credit.

• No goods shall be credited if ordered incorrectly. We will however pass a creditless handling fee and repair fees once the product has been resold.

• A 10% - 25% handling, repacking, and processing charge may be applied to all credits depending on the condition of the goods returned.

• 75% of the order value on the placement of the order, is reflected in our bank account before any work commences.

• The remaining 15% will be payable before delivery/fitment is scheduled. Customers are welcome to come and inspect products to ensure compliance.

• With the order, we trust you to read the above and confirm it.
